Biasalah, original budget katakan 250mil for R&D, tolak feessss yg bermacam2 lagi, additional unnecessary productions costssss (korang fahamlah maksud aku, typical malaysian scenario), jadi product yg asalnya banyak budget, last2 maybe tinggal half je

aku dgr salah satu sbb byk comp yg tarik diri tak mahu beli proton sbb vendor gak, proton kalau boleh mahu vendor2nya dikekalkan, sdgkan byk comp tak puas hati dgn quality yg mereka bagi

the R & D figure is only an estimates. R & D ok, cuma VENDOR yg produce nya, ramai kroni, Quality almost none existent. FISRT MENTALITY = GET THE CAR OF (inception of PROTON). But i think, until now, SAME MENTALITY.

Harris, point to ponder bout PROTON R&D: If that so much amount of money was spent, why the car still lack in quality?We never expect a performance- engine like a 320i or Type R Civic. But they fail in basic things such as power window, plastic component

SOMETHING NEEDED TO BE DONE TO PROTON. THE ONLY WAY TO SAVE PROTON IS TO SELL IT TO OTHER AUTOMATIVE CO (my opinion, based on FREE ECONOMIC FLOW, tapi habis ler industry MALAYSIA) SKODA, ROVER, MINI and FIAT all same scenario.

ECONOMIC OF SCALE. Proton R & D let say RM 250m vs HONDA R & D RM 400m. But proton only produces, 300k and HONDA produces 800k of cars ... divide ler. (INI LER JAWAPAN NAJMUDDIN masa aku tanya KENAPA PROTON MAHAL)  |

faizi, cuba bayangkan la kete import diberi tax 200% tp kadang boleh jual dgn harga 70-80K sedangkan proton tax eksis berapa % aje pun jual 50-60 K, kalau tanpa tax kete import lagi murah hehehehehe

Know your limit&status la PROTON. That old school punya ad dah basi. Even reputable car makers such as Honda, Toyota & Nissan tak main sorok sorok..terus terjah keluar.Tgk the new Mitsu Lancer 2.0GT. Terus display. It's about marketing.

The new advert gimmick for their PESONA is out-dated. Style kuno! Main 'hide&seek' as if org akan teruja sgt lah nak tgk kereta dia..Worst thing they put the car in a box with multiple tiny holes, nak suruh org intai..gila ke apa..

Not to offense any PROTON owner here, but Proton suck. Tak mau komen lebih lebih pasal kereta dia, satu Malaya dah tau quality problemnya.
